28th National Convention of Akhil Bharatvarshiya Marwari Sammelan to be held on September 6–7 at Adhyatma Sadhana Kendra, Chhatarpur

New Delhi: The 28th National Convention of Akhil Bharatvarshiya Marwari Sammelan will be held on September 6 and 7, 2025, at Adhyatma Sadhana Kendra, Chhatarpur, under the hospitality of the Delhi Provincial Marwari Sammelan. The convention will witness participation from leading industrialists and personalities from the Marwari community who have made notable contributions in industry and social fields. On the opening day, renowned Delhi industrialist Pawan Kumar Goenka will formally assume charge as the newly elected National President of the Sammelan. He was unanimously elected during the elections held in Kolkata for the 2025–2027 term. Around 600 delegates from 400 branches across 25 states and Union Territories will take part in the convention. Among the eminent participants will be Dr. Shyam Sundar Aggarwal (Chairman, Milkose & Chief Host), Sanjay Agrawal (Director, Bikanervala Group), Padma Shri Prahalad Rai Agarwala (Promoter, Rupa Garments), Rikhab Chand Jain (Promoter, T.T. Group), Ashok Garg and Satish Garg (Promoters, Ganga Reality Homes), K.L. Jain (Chairman, KLJ Group), Nandlal Rungta (Chairman, Rungta Mines & Rungta Steel Group), Shubhkaran Bothra (Chairman, Bothra Foundation), Sanjay Mosun (Promoter, JKJ Jewellers), Prakash Agrawal (MD, GN Hostel), and Arun Pansari (Chairman, Triveni Impex Group), among others. On the eve of the convention, September 5, a devotional musical evening will be held featuring singers Sanjay Mittal and Shubham Roopam. On September 6 at 1 PM, a felicitation ceremony will honor distinguished members of the Marwari community for their outstanding contributions in various fields. The official inauguration of the convention will follow at 2 PM, announced by Convenor Raj Kumar Mishra and Provincial General Secretary Basant Kumar Poddar. The Akhil Bharatvarshiya Marwari Sammelan, the only representative body of the Marwari community, has been working for over 90 years in the fields of social reform, community welfare, and nation-building.
