Ranveer Allahbadia Faces Criticism Online Over Latest ‘BeerBiceps’ Podcast

New Delhi : Ranveer Allahbadia, the popular YouTuber and podcaster known for his channel “BeerBiceps,” has sparked a major controversy after making an inappropriate comment on comedian Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Latent.” During a recent episode, Allahbadia posed an uncomfortable and controversial question to a contestant that has since gone viral and drawn significant criticism from social media users.

The incident occurred when Allahbadia asked the contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or join in once and stop it forever?” The question was met with immediate backlash for its perverted and inappropriate nature, raising concerns about the content being shared on platforms like YouTube, which have a wide audience. The show also featured popular content creators like Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, who goes by “The Rebel Kid” on Instagram, further amplifying the visibility of the remark.

The video of Allahbadia’s comment quickly went viral, sparking outrage across social media platforms. Users were quick to slam the podcaster for his insensitive and shocking remark. Many expressed concern over the growing trend of problematic content by prominent creators and its impact on the younger audience.

One of the most notable voices condemning Allahbadia’s comments was journalist and lyricist Neelesh Misra, who criticized the “perverted creators” shaping the creative landscape in India. Misra highlighted the fact that the content in question was not clearly marked as adult content, meaning that even children could accidentally stumble upon it if recommended by YouTube’s algorithm.

Misra pointed out the lack of responsibility from both the creators and the platforms in controlling the type of content being shared. “This content is not designated as adult content — it can be easily accessed by children if the algorithm takes them there. The creators or the platform have zero sense of responsibility,” Misra stated, emphasizing the need for greater accountability in the industry.

The incident has reignited debates about the type of content creators are producing, especially on platforms like YouTube, which boast millions of young viewers. While some support freedom of expression and creativity, others argue that certain content crosses ethical boundaries and impacts the impressionable minds of the youth.
