Mumbai, June 12 – Akshay Kumar’s latest release Housefull 5 continues its triumphant run at the box office, recording solid numbers on its sixth day despite mid-week dips. The comedy-thriller collected ₹9.40 crore on Wednesday, a marginal 11% drop from Tuesday’s ₹11.70 crore, bringing its total net earnings in India to ₹126.08 crore.
With a gross domestic total of ₹148.77 crore, the film is poised to surpass Salman Khan’s Sikandar (₹129.95 crore) today, securing the #4 spot among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2025 so far.
Mounted on a lavish budget of ₹225 crore, Housefull 5 has already recovered 52% of its cost within just six days. The upcoming weekend is expected to be crucial, potentially pushing the film closer to breakeven. The film’s steady momentum reflects strong audience support despite mixed critical reviews.
After facing setbacks with Sky Force (₹134.93 crore) and Kesari Chapter 2 (₹94.40 crore), both of which failed to cross their respective budgets, Housefull 5 is emerging as a much-needed commercial success for Akshay Kumar in 2025.
The film is also on track to break into Akshay’s top 10 highest-grossing films of all time, needing just ₹4.92 crore more to surpass Rowdy Rathore and claim the 10th spot.
Day 6 Collection (Wednesday): ₹9.40 crore
Total India Net: ₹126.08 crore

With consistent mid-week performance and an anticipated boost over the weekend, Housefull 5 is not just a crowd-puller but also a redemption arc for Akshay Kumar’s box office graph this year.
