Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Congratulates HBSE Class 12 Toppers via Video Call

Chandigarh (Haryana), May 14: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday extended his congratulations to Arpandeep Singh from Kaithal, the state topper of the HBSE Class 12 exams, through a video call. The CM also interacted with other stream toppers — Saroj from Jind, who led the Arts stream, and Naman from Bhiwani, who topped in Science.

Applauding the students’ dedication and determination, CM Saini said, “You have made your parents and the state proud. Congratulations on this outstanding milestone, and I wish you continued success in the future.” He also congratulated Arpandeep’s father, remarking, “Heartfelt congratulations to you as well — your son’s achievement is a proud moment for all of us.”

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) had declared the Class 12 results for 2025 on Tuesday.

Separately, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also congratulated students who passed the CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations, emphasizing the value of hard work, discipline, and focus. In a message on X, he wrote, “Hearty congratulations to all the students who cleared the CBSE Class X and XII exams. Your results reflect dedication and perseverance.”

The CBSE exams began on February 15 and concluded on March 18 (Class 10) and April 4 (Class 12). This year, 93.66% of students cleared Class 10, while 88.39% passed Class 12. Girls outperformed boys again, with 91% of girls passing Class 12 — 5.94% higher than boys — and 95% of girls clearing Class 10, surpassing boys by 2.37%.

Out of 22,38,827 candidates, a total of 20,95,467 students passed the CBSE board exams this year.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed his best wishes to students who succeeded in their exams, and encouraged those who fell short, stating, “One exam does not define your life.”
