Chandigarh, April 4,2025 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, has announced the release of Rs. 1 crore for the repair and construction of Government Schools in BC Bazaar and Rambagh Road, Ambala. This initiative aims to improve school infrastructure and address the deteriorating conditions of classrooms, benefiting students significantly.
During a meeting with District Education Officer (DEO) Suresh Kumar and school principals Rekha, Rita, and AEO Amarinder Singh, the officials expressed their gratitude for the funds. Sh. Anil Vij assured that the repair work would commence immediately. The funds will be utilized for constructing new classrooms, toilets, staircases, and renovation of existing facilities.
Sh. Vij has sanctioned Rs. 50 lakh each for Government Senior Secondary Schools in Rambagh Road and BC Bazaar. At PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Rambagh Road, the Rs. 50 lakh will be allocated for five new classrooms, toilets, and other facilities. At BC Bazaar Government Senior Secondary School, the funds will be used for an eight-room double-story building and other renovations.
Anil Vij Addresses Public Grievances in Ambala
Additionally, Minister Anil Vij held a public grievance redressal session at his Ambala residence, where he listened to residents’ complaints. He directed immediate action on various issues, including an online fraud case, stormwater pipeline installation in Sarafa Bazaar, and electricity-related complaints. Vij also took action on a physical assault complaint, instructing the Mahesh Nagar SHO to address the matter.
