Chandigarh, December 30, 2023– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, held a review meeting on Friday at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, regarding the complaints and suggestions received during the Jan Samvad. In this meeting, the Chief Minister thoroughly reviewed the programmes conducted across the state during the Jan Samvad.
He directed officers to promptly resolve all complaints and suggestions received on the Jan Samvad portal. He emphasized that the Jan Samvad programme is an ambitious initiative to review and receive feedback on government schemes from people at the grassroots level. During the programme, he personally reviews each complaint received.
Administrative secretaries from five departments, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Transport Department, Climate, Forest and Wildlife Department, and Women and Child Development Department, presented progress reports related to their respective departments in the meeting.
During the meeting, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, responding to a complaint about delayed delivery of ration at a ration depot, called the complainant, a resident of Ward-5 in Panipat, and inquired about the situation. He directed officers to ensure timely delivery of ration to the depot. He stated that the government’s goal is not only to inform people about government schemes but also to ensure that every deserving individual is drawing benefits out of those schemes. Keeping this in view, he urged officers to work diligently and with accountability. He emphasized the need to strengthen coordination among departments to provide people with facilities quickly.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, along with administrative secretaries of the concerned departments, holds continuous review meetings to discuss all complaints and suggestions received during the Jan Samvad. This ensures the proper implementation of the programme’s objectives, allowing citizens to receive information about all ongoing state government schemes and their benefits at their doorstep.
Meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, and Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management and Consolidation Department, Sh. T.V.S.N. Prasad, Chief Commissioner, Haryana Right to Service Commission, Sh. T.C. Gupta, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, besides other senior officers.
