Nepal Police Delegation Visits Delhi Police Headquarters
17 Student and 8 Instructor Officers on Foreign Study Tour Interact with CP Delhi, Gain Insights into Policing Best Practices
New Delhi : The Commissioner of Police, Delhi,Satish Golchha, interacted with a delegation from Nepal Police, comprising of 17 Student Officers and 8 Instructor Officers, at Delhi Police Headquarters, today, as part of their foreign study tour.
The delegation gained valuable insights into policing strategies and best practices from CP, Delhi. Golchha also shared his vast experience in dealing with challenging law & order situations and about effective measures undertaken to maintain peace and order in the metropolitan city.
Special Commissioner of Police Atul Katiyar, looking after the charge of Training Division briefed the delegation about our training techniques and facilities provided to the freshers. Joint Director DPA Asif Mohd Ali and Deputy Director DPA Mohammad Ali were also present during the interaction.
The delegation was given a short-guided tour of the PHQ, including the Social Media Centre, Fitness lounge, Knowledge Centre (Library), PFWS Store and other offices. As per their training schedule, the delegation will also be visiting some police stations and traffic circles in coming days.
The delegation is a part of Nepal’s Police Leadership and Staff Course for developing effective police leadership. The visit aims to gain international exposure and learn global best practices. The study visit to India includes interactions with prominent Indian policing institutions like Delhi Police, CBI, BPR&D, CDTI, NSG etc.
