The Impressive TimesJodhpur, July 8 — Daulal Vaishnaw, father of Union Minister for Railways, Communications, and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, passed away at AIIMS Jodhpur on Tuesday morning. He had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for several days due to a critical health condition.
According to an official statement from the hospital, Daulal Vaishnaw breathed his last at 11:52 AM on July 8, 2025. “Despite exhaustive efforts by the medical team, his condition could not be revived,” the statement read.
The news has deeply saddened the minister’s well-wishers and supporters. Several political leaders and public figures are expected to offer condolences in the coming hours.
Daulal Vaishnaw had maintained a low profile but was known to be a strong guiding force behind his son’s journey in public service.
