Grand “Bada Khana” Celebrated at Palwal Police Lines on New Year
-Event promotes unity in police force; Palwal Police vow crime-free and drug-free district by 2026
The Impressive TimesPalwal: On the occasion of New Year, Palwal District Police organized a grand “Bada Khana” at the parade ground of Police Lines, Palwal. The event was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Varun Singla along with his wife Rubal Singla. Senior officials present included SDM Palwal Jyoti, SDM Hodal Balina, SDM Hathin Apratim Singh, Municipal Magistrate Preeti Rawat, DSP HQ Anil Kumar, DSP Palwal Manoj Verma, DSP Hodal Sahil Dhillon, DSP Hathin Mohinder Verma, DSP Narendra Khatana, DSP Surender Kumar, and the Palwal Police family. Sports activities, including a tug-of-war between journalists and police personnel, were organized, with police station heads winning the competition.
A magic show entertained the audience. Prize winners were honored by the SP. Addressing the gathering, SP Varun Singla extended New Year greetings and said the event strengthened unity and teamwork in the force. He reiterated the pledge to make Palwal district crime-free and drug-free by 2026 and stressed youth participation in sports to stay away from drugs.
He said “Bada Khana” is a Haryana Police tradition where officers and personnel of all ranks dine together, promoting brotherhood, equality, and morale. Palwal Police thanked all participants for making the event successful.
