Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta Leads Grand Tiranga Yatra in Rohini, Pays Tribute to Armed Forces and Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, May 22, 2025: A grand Tiranga Yatra was organized today in Rohini under the leadership of Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker and local MLA, Shri Vijender Gupta. The patriotic march paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces and commemorated the success of Operation Sindoor, a landmark moment in India’s defense history.

The rally began at Maheshwari Apartments in Sector-14, Rohini, and concluded at Central Market, Prashant Vihar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and market associations. Shri Pravesh Wahi, Councillor of Rohini Ward, also took part in the march.

Participants carried the national flag with pride, raised patriotic slogans, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the bravery and sacrifice of India’s soldiers.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Vijender Gupta stated, “This Tiranga Yatra is a tribute to the courage and dedication of our armed forces. Operation Sindoor marked a significant moment in India’s defense strategy and showcased our military strength and preparedness.” He also acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crediting him for strengthening India’s global image in matters of security and defense.

Gupta emphasized that the values demonstrated by the armed forces—discipline, sacrifice, and patriotism—should be adopted by every citizen. “Not everyone may wear the uniform, but each one of us can serve the nation by upholding its unity and integrity,” he said.

The Yatra concluded with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and a message of unity, national pride, and unwavering support for the armed forces.
