Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addresses Wayanad residents, calling for unity to protect constitutional values and resist divisive policies by the BJP-led Central Government

Wayanad, Dec 1: Congress leader and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged citizens to come together to protect constitutional values and prevent the BJP-led Central Government from further eroding the rights of people. While speaking at a public meeting at Gandhi Park in Mananthavady during her visit to Wayanad, she said collective action is needed to ensure a bright future for the country.

Priyanka expressed her gratitude to the people of Wayanad for electing her with an overwhelming majority in the recent by-election. She dedicated her victory to the hard work of party supporters and voters, saying, “I am deeply proud of your support and will always stand by you as your voice in Parliament.”

She further reassured the MP with assurance on frequently visiting her constituency to communicate with all sections of the people and their needs; also, she promised not to wait for a long period for the issues to find its way to the top desk.

Highlighting the challenges faced by the nation, Priyanka urged people to unite against divisive forces, emphasizing the need to protect the fundamental rights of citizens. She called on individuals to support opposition efforts in countering the policies of the BJP-led Union Government. In a lighter moment, Priyanka mentioned her intention to learn Malayalam to better connect with her constituents.

During her visit, she attended roadshows and public meetings at Sulthan Bathery and Kalpetta. She also visited other constituencies in Malappuram and Kozhikode districts, meeting with the people and discussing their problems.

Her visit underlined her commitment to actively engaging with the people of Wayanad and advocating for their welfare.
