New Delhi, December 5, 2025: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has expanded its Technology Centre network by establishing nine additional centres under the Technology Centre Systems Programme (TCSP), strengthening its support for MSMEs in technical training and skill development. These centres add to the already operational 18 facilities across the country.
For the financial year 2025–26, the government has earmarked ₹200 crore for setting up and running these centres under TCSP. Together, the new centres and the existing network trained over 3.28 lakh participants in 2024–25, including MSME business owners, workers and aspiring professionals.
The Technology Centres have rolled out focused training modules in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). These advanced topics have now been integrated into both long-term and short-term courses to ensure MSMEs gain access to modern industrial technologies and skillsets.
The update was shared by Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, in a written response in the Lok Sabha.
