MSDE Showcases Skilled India Vision Through Youth-Powered Republic Day Tableau

Building Viksit Bharat Through Skills: MSDE Tableau Sends Powerful Message

New Delhi, January 25: The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is set to present an inspiring tableau at this year’s Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path, spotlighting how India’s youth and skill ecosystem are shaping the journey toward a self-reliant and future-ready nation.

The theme of the tableau revolves around the idea that India’s progress toward Viksit Bharat is being driven by Yuva Shakti, innovation, and a strong foundation of skill development.

Leading the display are the All-India ITI toppers, previously honoured by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh 2025. Their presence reflects the growing importance of vocational excellence in India’s development story. The Ministry’s recent international success was also highlighted, as Indian participants secured medals and Medallions of Excellence at the WorldSkills Asia Competition 2025 in Taipei, reinforcing India’s rising global standing in advanced skills.

A key focus of the tableau is inclusive skilling, with women and men training together across sectors. Women trainees featured in cutting-edge and non-traditional technical roles, underlining the role of skilling in promoting women-led growth and increasing their participation in emerging industries.

The tableau symbolically transforms Kartavya Path into “Kaushal Path,” representing a national pathway where youth talent and skills are powering India’s developmental ambitions.

Emerging and future-focused sectors such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, electric mobility, and semiconductors take center stage. The Ministry’s SOAR (Skilling for AI Readiness) initiative, which provides free government-supported AI training, showcases India’s efforts to prepare its youth for the AI-driven future of work.

Blending tradition with modernity, the tableau also pays tribute to artisans and craftspeople, presenting a vision of Aatmanirbharta where heritage skills grow alongside high-tech capabilities.

At the heart of the display is a human brain model, symbolizing creativity, critical thinking, and analytical ability. It is flanked by two clasped hands, representing the strong government–industry partnership under the PM-SETU scheme, aimed at upgrading 1,000 Government ITIs. The scheme also supports the reskilling of Agniveers, enabling them to build technical careers and contribute meaningfully after their service.

Overall, the MSDE tableau delivers a powerful message — that skills, innovation, and youth energy are the true engines driving India’s transformation into a developed nation.
