Faridabad: The Jat Samaj celebrated a grand Holi Milan Samaroh at Kisan Bhawan, Sector-16, Faridabad under the theme “Holi ke Rang – Apnon ke Sang.” Members greeted each other with sandalwood tilak and played flower Holi, spreading warmth and unity. Former Additional District Judge Rajesh Garg, the chief guest, said such gatherings promote mutual love and harmony and help resolve differences. Doctors from Yatharth Hospital also addressed the gathering, spreading awareness about diseases and preventive care.
Neurosurgeon Dr. Dharmveer Singh Faujdar lauded the social initiatives of Jat Samaj Faridabad, stating that the organisation’s contribution to public welfare is commendable. He cautioned against chemical-based colours available in markets, which may contain harmful substances like chemicals and glass particles that damage the skin, and advised celebrating Holi with flowers as a safer alternative.

Jat Samaj Faridabad president JPS Sangwan extended Holi greetings and said the festival conveys a message of brotherhood and unity, urging people to forget differences and embrace one another. General Secretary HS Malik presented a report on the organisation’s activities and thanked the guests for their presence. HS Malik said the community body supports meritorious students through awards and financial assistance. It also provides monetary aid to martyrs’ widows, sportspersons and persons with disabilities to boost their morale. Financial assistance is extended to students preparing for UPSC examinations as well. He added that the organisation runs a free dispensary where people receive free medical treatment and medicines. The cultural segment featured Colonel Gopal Singh, who entertained the audience with traditional Braj Rasiya songs, while SS Dhillon brought laughter with Haryanvi humour. Artists from Braj presented Phoolon ki Holi and Raasleela performances, captivating the audience and prompting many to join in the celebrations. Participants concluded the event by playing flower Holi and exchanging greetings.
