Faridabad, 4 October 2025:ILSS Ashwani Hospital successfully conducted the 28th LASER Prostate Surgery Workshop today under the guidance of Course Director Dr. Tanuj Paul Bhatia and Co-Director Dr. Sumit More.
The workshop was attended by 12 eminent urologists from across India, marking yet another milestone in ILSS Ashwani Hospital’s commitment to advancing minimally invasive urological surgery and surgical education.

The scientific program featured comprehensive lectures on laser prostatectomy techniques, followed by an interactive discussion session led by Dr. Tanuj Paul Bhatia focusing on the finer nuances and practical aspects of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).
A key highlight of the event was the first-ever use of the 160-Watt Holmium Laser by FutureMed Potent Lasers in North India — a significant technological advancement promising enhanced precision, safety, and efficiency in prostate surgeries.

The workshop reaffirmed ILSS Ashwani Hospital’s position as a pioneer in laser-based urological education and innovation, continuing its tradition of hosting hands-on academic programs for practicing urologists nationwide.
