Factory-Level Demonstration Held During National Productivity Week to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness
The Impressive TimesFaridabad : As a part of National Productivity Week celebrations, Bhartiya Valves Pvt Ltd today in their factory promises organized a demonstration for the shop floor staff to create awareness of Fire Safety Equipment each worker should be familiar with Er. JP Malhotra advised that each member of workplace should be familiar with the equipment to be used in Case of Fire or any such misshapen. How will a person use Fire Safety Equipment if he is not fully familiar.
This exercise should be repeated at least once in two weeks because workers/staff keep on changing and new incumbent should be knowing it. Mock drill should be conducted regularly as this will keep the equipment working. A Special Board has been designed and placed in shop floor so that each worker has a look and understand firefighting equipment’s when he comes of duty or finishes his duty. Haryana Safety Productivity Council has been organizing Safety week early year to create awareness and making workforce prepared to meet any eventuality. The organizing team lead by Sh. HL Bhutani is doing tremendous work on it.
