Delhi Police Commissioner Inaugurates AI-Based Intelligence Data Management Tool (IDMT)
New platform to modernise Special Branch workflows and strengthen intelligence capabilities
The Impressive TimesNew Delhi : Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi inaugurated the Intelligence Data Management Tool (IDMT) a cutting-edge AI Platform at Conference Hall, Police Headquarters, Delhi in the presence of senior officers on 18th December, 2025 at 1600 hours. The inaugural session was addressed by the DCP/Special Branch. A detailed presentation was made in respect of IDMT tool.
The Intelligence Data Management Tool (IDMT) is an advanced AI-driven platform designed to automate and modernize Special Branch workflows. The Intelligence Data Management Tool (IDMT) represents a transformational leap for Special Branch operations. IDMT enhances efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making—ensuring a smarter, faster, and more coordinated intelligence framework for the future.
The Commissioner of Police, Delhi appreciated the efforts of Special Branch to include technological interventions in the field of intelligence and hoped to see more such advancement in near future.
The inauguration function ended with vote of thanks by DCP/Special Branch.
