DC Abhishek Meena leads Night Stay Public Dialogue program in Rohadai to address grassroots grievances

On-the-spot redressal, departmental review, and community engagement mark proactive governance; Cyber safety and anti-drug awareness highlighted

Rewari: In a committed effort to ensure prompt grievance redressal, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Meena led the district administration’s Night Stay Public Dialogue Program at village Rohadai on Monday. The initiative, organized under the Haryana Government’s directives, saw DC Abhishek Meena resolving most of the complaints on the spot, while issuing instructions to concerned officials for timely resolution of the remaining issues. He emphasized that addressing public grievances remains the top priority of the district administration.

The DC informed the villagers that, apart from such night stay dialogues, dedicated grievance redressal camps are held every Monday and Thursday at the Mini Secretariat, providing citizens ample opportunity to seek solutions to their problems.

A large number of villagers participated in the night stay program held at the village chaupal under the leadership of DC Abhishek Meena. Accompanied by Superintendent of Police Hemendra Meena, DC visited an inter-departmental exhibition set up in the premises of the Government Senior Secondary School. Both officials reviewed the stalls and directed departments to ensure effective dissemination of welfare schemes and initiatives to the public.

During the visit, he also promoted environmental conservation by encouraging villagers to actively participate in plantation drives. He further inspected ongoing development works in the village along with concerned officials, ensuring quality and progress.

Later, DC Meena held a serious and attentive grievance hearing at the village Harijan Chaupal, where issues related to electricity, water, illegal encroachments, corrections in Family ID cards, and pensions were brought forth. He assured the complainants that all issues would be resolved within a stipulated timeframe.

Notably, villagers from Rohadai as well as surrounding areas availed the opportunity to voice their concerns during the public dialogue session.

SP Hemendra Meena, addressing the gathering, provided vital insights on how to avoid cyber frauds and encouraged the community to actively participate in the fight against drug abuse.

The event witnessed the presence of AC UT Ruhani, SDM Surender Singh, DSP Vidyanand, DDPO Narendra Sarwan, Deputy CEO Ankit Chauhan, Roadways GM Pradeep Ahlawat, Naib Tehsildar Shyam Lal, PO Shalu Yadav, Deputy DEO Rajendra Sharma, and several other officials and prominent community members.
