Ayachi Nagar Yuva Foundation Honored for Leading Blood Donation Drive in Madhubani

Madhubani: Blood donation, known to be one of the acts towards service of humanity at the highest level. There are blood donation camps being organised at different places in the district. Ayachi Nagar Yuva Foundation has been recognized as the leading organization in Madhubani district for organizing the highest number of blood donation camps and collecting the maximum number of blood units during the 2024–25 financial year.

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Anand Sharma, District Magistrate Madhubani, honored Vicky Mandal, founder Ayachi Nagar on behalf of the Yuva foundation. He was honored for his exemplary contribution to society and the humanity. The organization was also felicitated at Sadar Hospital’s Piku Bhawan, where Civil Surgeon Dr. Harendra Kumar commended the team for their remarkable service.
It was informed that during the financial year 2024–25, the foundation organized 18 blood donation camps across the district, collecting approximately 400 units of blood for the district blood bank. The organization has been particularly active in rural and remote backward areas, conducting camps to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation and to support patients in urgent need.
Till now, the foundation has facilitated the free provision of around 1,000 units of blood to patients through its network of donors. The sustained efforts of Vicky Mandal and his dedicated team have not only saved numerous lives but have also significantly increased awareness about voluntary blood donation in the region.

Praising the initiative, District Magistrate Anand Sharma encouraged the organization to continue its humanitarian mission. Civil Surgeon Dr. Harendra Kumar described the team’s efforts as inspirational and emphasized that their contribution to the field of blood donation deserves wide appreciation. He expressed hope that the foundation’s work would motivate more people to come forward and donate blood.

Present on the occasion include Blood Bank In-Charge Dr. Kunal Kaushal and Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, along with other officials and distinguished guests.
The volunteers that made the achievement possible included Dheeraj Labh, Manoj Kanth, Praveen Kumar Jha, Vikas Sahu, Deepak Kumar, Harkhu Jha, Ramesh Thakur, Nandu Thakur, Satish Mandal, and Kaushal Mandal. Without these volunteers the motivating results of blood collection would have not been made possible.
