New Delhi, 16 September 2025– The Delhi Secretariat became the stage for a historic celebration, brimming with emotion, joy, and patriotism. On the occasion of the birthday of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta formally launched the specially prepared song, ‘Namo Pragati Delhi – From Children’s Voices to the Nation’s Voice’. This song has been sung by children from Delhi’s government schools and incorporates melodies from India’s diverse languages. It stands as a powerful symbol of the Prime Minister’s nation-building journey and his commitment to the ‘One India, Best India’ vision.
The Chief Minister personally congratulated the children, praising their love and dedication in creating the beautiful song and video, and sending the Prime Minister their greetings in multiple languages. She described it as a significant and priceless gift for the Prime Minister.


Upon arriving at the Secretariat, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was warmly welcomed by the children of Delhi’s government schools. Over 50 schools participated, showcasing talents in singing, dancing, photography, videography, and choreography. Over 400 students contributed to the creation, recording, and performance of this special song, dedicated to the Prime Minister. In addition, students prepared over 300 handmade greeting cards, inscribed with personalised birthday wishes. These cards were handed to the Chief Minister, who assured the students that she would personally deliver them, along with the song, to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the event, the Chief Minister interacted warmly with the children, embracing them, encouraging their enthusiasm, and appreciating their efforts. She spent time with the students over high tea and took a group selfie with them. On this occasion, Delhi’s Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood and Manjinder Singh Sirsa were also present.

Extending her birthday wishes to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “On behalf of myself and all residents of Delhi, I extend my heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi. May God’s blessings continue to be upon you and, through you, upon all of India.”
She praised the children’s performance, stating that the song is not merely music but a manifestation of the nation’s collective sentiment, beautifully brought to life by these young voices. She added that the children’s wishes and blessings represent the greatest gift for the Prime Minister.
On the occasion, Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood remarked that under the leadership of the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past 11 years, India has achieved unprecedented heights.
His visionary thinking and indomitable resolve have established India as a strong and self-reliant nation on the global stage, despite its diversity. He noted that on the Prime Minister’s birthday, under the guidance of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi School Education Department launched a special song conveying birthday greetings to Modi Ji in various languages. Through this musical tribute celebrating ‘Ek Bharat – Shreshth Bharat – Viksit Bharat’ (‘One India – Best India – Developed India’), the Prime Minister was honoured. The children of Delhi’s government schools, through their innocent voices, conveyed the message of ‘unity in diversity’ and paid tribute to the Prime Minister’s life devoted to national service
