What Influences LPG Prices?

LPG price revisions are based on international crude oil rates, foreign exchange fluctuations, shipping costs, and local taxes. These changes are announced on the 1st of every month and vary across states due to differing VAT rates and transportation costs.

This reduction is likely to ease the operational burden for thousands of commercial kitchens and service businesses across the country. However, frequent fluctuations in LPG prices—especially in the last few quarters—have posed challenges in budgeting and pricing for food and service vendors.

Domestic LPG prices, used by households, are generally revised separately and remain untouched by this current change.
